PLEASE HELP...KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!!!

My mum is currently in her bedroom sweating so much that its gone through her pillow...i have replaced pillow and given adequate cooling...she is suffering extreme cold in between as well...she has vomited so much there is nothing left in her body...i am giving her sips of water currently every 10 mins...she is in agonising abdominal pain and has only otc strong pain relief (which she cant keep down)...being a baby boomer n proud...she will not go to hospital and i have no choice but to respect her wishes...i understand fully she needs hospital care...she has chrons disease...anyone with ANY help please help me...we live in a small country town where doctors bury their mistakes...i am trying to stay calm and taking proactive steps...i am new to this as i havent been around my mother fulltime for years...she had a severe attack a 3 days ago...please help me help herf...im desperate :(

I'm sure you're going to get many responses saying exactly what I'm about to say.

You need to get her to a Hospital or GI clinic immediately. She could have any of several complications from this disease. Some of which could be deadly if not treated.

I can only speculate, but it could be a blockage, which you can't ignore.

If you're small town setting can't provide adequate care, then you need to drive to the nearest big city. Get on the phone and start by calling you're family doctor. Get her in tho see him, and get referral. 

You're really going to have to take charge with your Mom, and just tell her straight out how it's going to be. You must be firm with the Doctors as well.

I would go to the ER..She could have a rupture of the intestines..My mother waited and a portion of her intestines was dead in her body..She could have a very bad infection or be dangerously dehydrated..It will not get better so don't delay whether she wants to or not!

thankyou so much for all your support...i researched n researched that day n hoped and prayed she'd make it through...she is a rather stubborn n proud woman whom i love dearly. After posting thread I woke her every 15 mins and got her to have a sip of water,no matter how small.I also convinced her to see a new doctor in town who she went and saw yesterday and he has given her bloodtests etc...still not good enough though I know...she refuses hospital treatment ferociously!!! She is off work and this dr seems to take her more seriously than she evr has but still not completely happy.The day i posted she was a strange colour...grey and pale n Im frightened...she is still very ill and in severe pains.She suffers from strictures...i went out that afternoon n got babyfood,stewed apple etc...if this happens again,which it will,how can I get her to the hospital,as she will only leave or refuse to go,never talk to me again,so who will look after her.I feel like crying but then again the way she feels is tentimes worse.Thankyou from the bottom of my heart...any advice I will gladly listen to as i have a feeling I will lose her if adequate help n healthcare is not taken.

Has she a phobia about hosptials? Does she perhaps feel that it shes goes to one that they will not let her out again? I am trying to get my head around the fact that she will see a Dr but not go to hospital.

Grey and pale is not a good colour to be.
You are in a really difficult position and I don't envy you, I guess if it was me I would take to hospital/call for an ambulance and simply tell her that you love her too much to want to see her suffer anymore and that you are not prepared for her to end up dying on you.
Incidently, I thnk she probably would talk to you again (no matter what she says)
