painful lump in abdomen

Any ideas as to stay this could be would be greatly appreciated. I have been having a lot of pain lately on my lower right side and right next to my hip bone i get this hard lump about the size of a lime it moves and seems to come and go. It's very painful and comes with a low grade fever and i have no idea what it is. No insurance right now so doctor visit is out. Any ideas of what it is and what to do? Thanks

It sounds like you have an abscess to me. I really think you need to see a doc stat, so try looking for doctors who do pro bono work. I know of a local charity who brings in a doctor once a week for such a purpose, so try looking around and calling some charities to point you in the right direction.

Seriously, if this is an abscess, you need to have it taken care of quickly!
