Hi everyone! :)

I take 75 mg of Imuran (I was on 100 mg for the past couple of years) & folic acid and am now thinking of getting pregnant.. I know that taking Imuran and getting pregnant is not 100% risk-free but I still would like to know if there is anyone here who has conceived whilst on Imuran??

My GI said I should continue taking it but GYN said a big no-no.. Obviously, I am going along with what my GI said but sometimes I have second thoughts about it ..

Just want to know what you guys have to say.. :s thanks

For what it's worth, my gyno said that pregnancy whilst on Imuran was fine as long as you keep a close eye on your health. I have also had two GIs tell me that it is fine. I think that the main idea behind the warning is that pregnancy while on Imuran isn't ideal.
