I dont have Cdiff but I have a questions about treatment

I have been fortunate enough to never have had C Diff I have been tested and did have VRE which wasnt fun.  My question is when Flagyl doesnt work for many of you who have had it the next course of action is to go on Vaco...now my issue is I am allergic to vanco in that case what would the next treatment be if anyone knows...Hope I never have to go through it but would like knowledge

Yeah I hope I never end up with it so many horror stories I think at one point my dad got it while on ABs but not sure now... VRE was abad enough that was from my bowel perforation and multiple surgeries thereafter
