I feel that just regular (good quality) teas help... I normally just brew it with no sugar. Haven't tried ginger tea but will keep it in mind next time I buy some.

I like to make my usual green tea and add a slice or two of fresh ginger while it steeps. I find it helps with nausea and just a general "upset stomach" as most people say.

Various types of ginger are used to treat IBD in Chinese medicine. If drinking the tea is helping you you might look into finding an experienced TCM doc speacializing in AI disease. It's a potent antinflammatory and there's quite a lot of research which has been done on it.
