remicade or humira

How they use e jab n humira ? once a week or mthly ? humira isnt better then remicade,humira can jap at home so better then remicade,remicade i jab before but last few mths only,soo thinkin to try humira ,my doctor say maybe will get liver or cancer isnt?

I'm not sure exactly hat your asking. My brother has been on remicade and seems to be doing ok with it. He does have to go in every eight weeks and site for an I've typ treatment for a few hours. I was on humira but just stopped because of side effects. Humira is a shot in the leg you can do at home biweekly.

Now I have ucler in small intestine so doc don approve to op now doc think to use remicade on me bcos in sg jap one get one free as humira jap five get one free so hospital sure choose cheaper to use but remicade I use b4 can't remission over six months so do u tink humira better for me to try ytd just dischar from hospital my prob is when go toilet wat meds all come out from stool so no effect on me my contispation too eat no feel eat

I've just started humira.. Well I've done the first four injections then the next two and today was my first single injection. I got the results from a blood test that I did last Thursday and apparently the humira is really helping with my inflammation :) I don't feel all that much better yet but that makes me optimistic good things are to come! I haven't noticed any side effects that I know of. Over the last weeks I've had really bad headaches but I don't know what they are even from, they might be because I'm off Entocort so who knows, other than that it seems like its a good med!

My doctor wanted me to try remicade. My insurance company would not cover it unless we tried humira first. So we did. I didn't have the normal side effects from this medication. My doctor just had me stop it after just a few months because of the side effects I was getting. went from prednisone which I was feeling great on to humira. Rashes, breaking out on the face, open sores, itchy scalp, wording pain in the stomach, lump that appeared hat comes and goes, etc. this obviously isn't what most people feel when they are on it but I didn't have the option between remicade or humira once I heard back from the insurance company. I had to try that first and show it wasn't working. And I actually hoped it did because it was very easy to do at home. I would call the insurance company and see what would be cover because the out of pocket of either of these is very very expensive and they may have you try one before the other like me.

Thank you for your quick reply, how long were you on it ive only had the 1st 4 injections i'm not gonna do ne more, I guess dr. will understand what do you takenow if anything? I was thinking about tring a natural approach what do you think?

Remicade gave me Lupus after 3 dosesso I am now on Humira. Although I am not in remission, it has dramatically decreased some of my symptoms. I now have about 3 or 4 bad days instead of 7!

It took 12 weeks for me to see improvement with Humira but it came! :) I love my Humira and look forward to giving it to myself every tuesday. I wasn't getting any improvement doing it once every two weeks so now I do it once every week.

I am 15 and it honestly doesn't hurt once you get used to it. I just lay it out for about 15 minutes and put an ice pack on my leg/stomach to numb it before giving the shot to myself. Humira is SO much more convenient.

Hate to tell you but everyone I know that has gone "All natural" ended up getting their whole colon removed within about 2-5 years. Not good. I feel no sympathy for them either because they rubbed it in my face that they were feeling SO much better going natural. Guess who has their colon still? ME :)!!!

Why not do natural AND medical therapies? It is the best of both worlds!
