CD & perimenopausal

Ok ladies, anyone else around who is dealing with this not so lovely combo?  I had 3 wonderful months of no periods then it shows up out of the blue yesterday full force which means my CD is also flaring pretty bad today.  How do you deal with this bs?

Sorry, just looking for a little sympathy while I'm in excrutiating pain......

I have been talking about ways to dealing with my bad periods with my gynecologist. I'm like you, a week before my period, my crohns symptoms go crazy so I figure if I can get rid of one problem, my periods, I will only have the crohns symptoms to deal with. I am considering endometrial ablation which is burning the inside of the uterus so you don't have periods anymore, or at least this is what I'm told.
I hope you feel better, it's bad enough to have period pain but to have crohns symptoms on top of it, no fun.

Thanks ladies, this is just making me nuts! For two days it was like a long hard continuous cramp and of course that set off my bowels, you know how it is. Today is better! Thanks again for your replies.
