is it crohn's that makes me all wet at night?

Crohn's since 1998 34 years old male, can you tell me if its crohn's that makes me swet at night like bad? and my skin is realy bad (Pores) is it normal? I never realy cared about my crohn's because people was always telling me I just didn't want to work that I was lazy! well you must of heard that before? anyway thanks to you guys I fit in a group.

When I was approximately 10 years old I started to feel the effects of Crohn's. It was also at this time that I started getting really bad night sweats.

Due to the pain of Crohn's I wasn't eating much food. What I later discovered is that by not eating enough food, my body was trying to metabolize fat and muscle to give itself energy. I found that as long as I eat a meal before going to bed, my body would be given the energy it needs and I would no longer have night sweats.

From about 12 years old onward I haven't had any night sweats. Just recently however, I was working late and only had a very small meal for supper (because my stomach had shrunk from not eating for so long, and eating made me feel ill). That _same_ night I had a really bad night sweat.

So, point being, you may need to make sure you go to bed with some food in your belly so that your body doesn't try to eat itself.

I also have wide temperature fluctuations at night. Cold to hot, to sweaty, it usually doesn't start until well after midnight when I'm in my deepest(?) sleep.

Prednisone will make you experience night sweats.
