Livingwell249- I did laugh, but thank you for your serious comments! Tell me what bugs do you think all the trouble is from? On the web I've read various ideas, but what do you think?
Thanks Moobydoo and pb4 for the tips on what to use for the body! I did have a friend give me some coconut oil this past Christmas so I think I will start trying that out to see how good it is. I use Olive Oil cooking wise and even used it on my hair at times, but I never thought you could rub it on yourself. I wonder what Baby Oil is made from, does anybody know?
There is an intergrated doctor who in the past was a surgeon and pathologist who talks extensivly about nthe good vs bad bugs. To simplify it he says that the bad bugs (bacteria, yeast, mold) feed on sugars and don't like oxygen. The by-products of these organisms is what is toxic to us and cause intestinal inflamation. The good guys (probiotics) feed off oxygen and help protect our intestines from the bad guys.Diet and supplements to kill the bad guys and replensish the gut with good guys is how he treats his patients. It makes sense. To be honest it's the only thing that makes sense that i heard of regarding IBDs. An overactive immune system that attacks our own self and has been evolving for a few billion years does not make sense.
