I'm sitting here at work telling myself I can make it through today.  I can't go home as I had to call off yesterday because of this DD.  The day started out with me having to turn around a mile from home and drive like a maniac to get back to the toilet.  I made it, I guess that's a good thing and I should be grateful for that at least.  It's just getting so much harder to manage bad days as I get older. And if you can't tell I'm having a big ole pity party for myself right now. I think I need to go take a walk before I have a complete melt down at my desk.

Thanks, I know you guys are the only ones understand.

Some days are really hard, but you are tough and can make it through! So glad that you are reaching out for support, we all need it! Hope you feel better soon. ((((lamb))))

Hi Lamb,

You go right ahead and have a "pity party", we have all been there.  I am so glad that you made it home, it reminded me of times when that has happened to me, that is why I keep a plastic grocery bag in my glove compartment.

I will be 61 this week and I too worry about how Crohn's will affect me as I get up there, one thing that keeps worrying me though, is, can I make it up my stairs to the bathroom when I am in my 80's.

No one on this site will ever fault you from feeling sorry for yourself when you are feeling down in the dumps, we know how you feel and if you need to vent some more, go right ahead, I know you will get some real support from people here.

Take care and try and keep your chin up, we are rooting for you Lamb.

So sorry you're having such a rough time. And it's quite alright to have a pity party every now and then. We all do it, and sometimes it makes me feel a little better just to vent a little bit. Hang in there.

I can totally relate...in the hospital for the second time in 6 weeks. ugh!
