Hello,
Help! I just got out of a really bad flare, spent a month in the hospital, numerous drugs etc.... I was on Remicade for 5 years and it failed. The doctor now has me on Humira, 6mp, and prednisone. I started to feel much better so my GI doctor said the Humira must be working and decided to taper me off the prednisone. I am down to 15mg of prednisone and I'm starting to bleed again and have small bouts of mucous and what looks like coffee grounds when I go potty. Besides that, everything seems normal. Ive had normal BMs with no pain, diarrea etc.... Does this sound like the begining stages of a flare again or am I just freaking out? My doctor seems to think i'm okay but gave me hydrocortisone suppositories to see if that helps for 2 weeks.... I dunno, I'm sick of always being sick and was really hoping to get of the pred because of all of the glorious side effects I'm having
