Hi,
I am 50 years old, and since I was a child, I would get stomach aches. I had some kind of barium test when I was about 8, because I used to throw up every night after dinner. The docs told my parents that it was due to drinking too much water before dinner. Throughout my life, I always felt stress in my stomach and I really and truly get sick, nauseous, etc. when I don't eat every few hours.
I got involved in something very stressful for a number of years, which didn't help my stomach, but now I am not involved in it, but still have stomach issues. I have pain a lot, and then have to rush to the bathroom. I do not generally have loose stools, though. But I do seem to get anal boils every few months. They generally go away on their own, but I have a very painful one now. It started like three pimples, and is now like three little boils all together. I am trying to rule out reasons I get these: I clean myself fastiduously, it is not in a shaving area, I take a bath or shower every day, at least once a day, sometimes twice. Coupled with the bathroom urgency, could this be something more serious?? How would it be diagnosed if it were? I only thought Crohn's disease because when I googled anal boil, all of the links led here.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank for helping,
Nancy
