Hi, can anyone recommend a good gastro in Central New Jersey? I want to switch from my current gastro, who is too hands-off about
Crohn's. Thanks in advance!

I'm in central NJ and I found that I had to go out of the area for a good GI doctor. I ended up going to Philadlepiha to a GI dr. that is out of Jefferson University Hopspital.
I had UC not CD but the GI doctor I see I believe is just as knowledgable with CD. Her name is Dr. Cuckoo Choudhary. Silly name I know but she is awesome. She helped me a lot but I ultimately ended up needing to have surgery so now I am UC free...no colon. I will still go to her for scopes of my j pouch though. You can Google her and see her credentials. Good luck!

Thanks so much Marianne. Philly is a little far. I'm going to try a dr in Cranford that I have heard great things about
, and take it from there.
Thanks again!

Good GI doctors are so hard to find! I went thru several. Best wishes with the dr. you are going to try. :)

Do you have facebook? There is a support page called "Inflammed & Untamed - Crohn's/Colitis Support" and she has started composing a list of Dr's around the US that people have been recommending .. might be useful for you.
