Crohns?

Got my colonoscopy and EGD, my Gastro said he did not see the distal wall thickening anymore, but he saw a polyp and removed it for biopsy. But he wanted me to get the camera pill test so he can see the area where colonoscopy and EGD cant go. Iif it is normal then i dont have crohns (which is good) but why do i have those symptoms i dunno if i still want the camera pill test. Pls help

I agree with Kazbern. Plus how cool is it to have a camera moving through you taking photos of you insides!?

In all seriousness, though, I am sorry you are still having to deal with no diagnosis. For the 7 months that I had no idea what was wrong with me, I was scared, angry, and so utterly fed up with the whole situation. If the results come back and your gastro has no answers for you, then just remember that you can always get another doctor to look at the colonoscopy photos. Another doctor might see something the first missed.

What the camera pill will do is provide the doc with access to the rest of your digestive system. Crohn's can affect the entire system, not just the large intestines. You may have clean large intestines, but your small bowel or stomach might have active disease. Just keep telling yourself that the more your doctors know, the better the chances of diagnosis. I know it is hugely frustrating and terribly invasive, but hopefully it leads to answers.
