what is adbomenal mass is?  for Crohns Disease... I searched for it.. specifically for crohns.  is it life threatening? or nothing but it will go away? or what. thanks.

An abdominal mass is not specific to Crohn's disease.

An abdominal mass is an abnormal accumulation of tissue or fluids in the adbominal cavity.

It could be an ovarian cyst, it could be a tumor attached to one of the abdominal organs, it could be adhesions causing abdominal organs or tissue to bind together ...

its not ovarian cyst, that i know for sure. well, only way is to wait and see for the results comes back. well, this tues x-ray... and results will be back like in 3 days time.

When I was a baby, i had Necrotizing enterocolitis. years later in 2006, crohns disease.. and I don't know if it ties with Necrotizing Enterocolitis scar.. the doctor pushed the belly really hard and its HURTS. its feels like a big sasuage is kinda hard. but i'm not a doctor and i am not good at explaining either.

Don't you just hate the WAIT???

Yes, it COULD be some scarring w/between the NE scar and and inflamed area of Crohn's disease intestine or two inflamed area of the intestine adhering to each other, it could be a narrowed area of intestine w/poop backed up distending it a bit and somewhat covered on the film by another loop of intestine, or .... so many possibilities .... we HATE the wait!!!.
