It's Back!

So after 5 healthy years, the Crohns is back! And I'm devastated:(
I literally woke up with it 2 weeks ago. But now I have two beautiful girls to take care of. I refuse to let this stupid disease affect them. But it's hit me hard. I'm in terrible pain and can't eat. Bleeding is moderate. Waiting on my gasto referral. Pcp started me on cortenemas but I'm feeling terrible from them every morning. I just can't do this again. I was so sick for so long. My husband and I are just finally healing as a result of the last time.

I'm so sorry that you're facing this again, especially with two young children. I hope that they can get it all sorted out for you quickly and get you back into remission. Do whatever you can to stay positive through this ordeal. Have faith that they can get a handle on it and that this situation will get better with medical treatment. And know that you're in everybody's thoughts tonight.

When you say it's back,,,do you mean that you had a bowel resection which put you in remission? Were you taking any maintenance meds during those five years, or watching your diet and what you ate?
