Okay, so I may be the only one of the kids in my family with full blown Crohn's, but all of my sisters and my brother has IBS. Because of this, we can all relate to the story I am sharing on here. And I know that everyone of you will either relate to this story, or at least get a big laugh. Hopefully you guys like this story that my eldest sister was wonderful enough to share. And to be clear, no this story isn't about any of us, it's just one she found while bored at work today.

omg - i laughed so hard that I spit my ice cream all over my computer!! I certainly can relate - her discription of the physical agony is right on. Can't count how many times I've had to run into another room and pretend to be doing something to avoid disgusting my family watching TV! So good to be able to laugh about it. What a gem!

Haha oldcrohnie, the worst is when you do excuse yourself and you have that investigating family member, "What are you doing?"
I literally had tears in my eyes from laughing, it was so well written and being able to relate to a tee!

Thank you mywowgirl! It's great to be on this forum and laugh about all this.
I'd love to share this with my FB friends, but it would be too embarrassing to share what we actually go through.
I really don't want to be out and have someone else cut it and my friends think it must be me!! lol.

I'm glad you all enjoyed it! I'll be sure to tell my eldest sister that the story she found cheered up a lot of people going through what I am. She has been one of the most supportive. She came to see me in the hospital the most. And her three darling daughters (one of which was my flower girl) all came to see me as well. They are quite a joy to have around.

I read the story so much I was able to tell it to my husband without reading it. Lol

My mom has IBS, so all of us siblings know that if someone has a distressed face and leaves the room, you don't want to follow them! Lol

Sunny, thanks! I'll have to read that. I'll share it with my sister's too.
Sharing things on this site has made me feel a little less embarrassed about my "issues" that I have.
