If you start feeling pain, throwing up, or can't pass any gas I would go straight to the ER, as that can signify an obstruction. Were you taking prescription strength pain medication after getting your wisdom teeth pulled? They can cause major constipation and may explain why you aren't going to the bathroom your normal amount. If your teeth hurt I would try Tylenol first as Ibuprofen can upset your stomach. If you need to take stonger pain meds for your teeth, try taking them with a stool softener and plenty of water to help combat the constipation.
Swollen lymph nodes often signify a virus coming on. Are you feeling run down or sick at all? I would recommend going to the doctor if you still notice they are sowllen without the onset of a sickness within the next week.
I hope you start feeling better!!
I had prescript
ion pain medication, but took maybe one pill. I took a lot of Ibuprofen prior to the extraction because I assumed it helped with the inflammation more (tooth was infected). I also took a daily dose of antibiotic that also had complications with bowels etc. It's been two weeks since I took those though. I did take some Tylenol last night for a headache. Maybe that's why I'm clogged today?
I do feel some bowel movement, or at least some sounds in my bowels last night and today. There is just obviously pressure, no pain and I do have slight gas. My nodes on my neck seemed to have gone down slightly in the past week. They are not completely gone, but they do seem to get smaller in my neck. My groin node is something I noticed last night on both sides. Feels like two small pea-sized nodes on each side that are moveable, rubber and not painful. They maybe even smaller than peas. They are not large or have grown. Could just be freaking myself out though.
Other symptoms of course have been recent fatigue and what feels like some lightheadness without the fainting feeling. Feels more like a odd head feeling, kind of like a head rush for a split second or so that stops. Lastly, I have this odd pressure pain around my head or just in the back of my head that kind of feels like a sinus headache. It moves around some, no major pain etc. This is what I had last night that got a little worse and I took the Tylenol for.
I have no idea if I have Crohn's disease. My wife has said she thinks I have it in the past. I just figured this would be the best place for blockage of bowels or issues in that area as a start.
