Hello all. Hope things are well. I'm enjoying/trying to survive college. Anyway, just recently my feet have started hurting bad. It's the heels. Granted, I've been on my feet more than usual, walking around campus and such (especially compared to this summer when I was basically bed-ridden, ugh). And I've been wearing flip flops, which I know have zero arch support. Nurse at the student health center told me to go get some better shoes with arch support (converse and sanuks aren't any better than flip flops, ha). Went today to a shoe place with what seemed like a very knowledgable staff. The girl told me I have plantar fasciitis after inspecting my feet, stance, walk, asking me questions, etc. The pain seems to be in the right area, so I think she's right. But I'm just wondering if this is Crohn's related. I just got off pred (although I think I need to get back on, unfortunately...
). I got some nice new shoes and inserts (man, college has been expensive-- I'm not used to buying all my own stuff, like meds, food, groceries, dry cleaning...). Anyone else been in the same boat of killer painful feet?
P.S. First attempt at getting Humira rejected. Trying again. So maybe in a few months *fingers crossed.*
