Dealing with joint, muscle pain, and Fatigue in remission how do you cope?

Those of you in remission do you still get random pain in random spots and the feeling like you didn't get enough sleep? I've been told to get checked for fibromyalgia by a few people and one doctor but I don't think I have any tender points to get diagnosed. If you have symptoms like this out of flare how do you cope? Also, if anyone with fibro could chime in that would be awesome. I'd be interested to know what to look for to open dialogue with my regular doctor. I get cbc every three months and nothing but albumin is out of wack so there doesn't seem to be another medical problem underlying.

I would say that if you are feeling joint pain or fatigue then you are not in remission. Of course, that assumes that Crohn's is your only diagnosis.

I have ongoing issues with my sacroiliac joint but I have concluded that is strictly a degenerative arthritis in the L5/S1 common to many adult Americans (confirmed by x-ray). I have chronic knee pain that has been almost 95% resolved by going gluten free, but after exercise it will still bother me (probably runner's knee).

If my hands start to hurt, then I know I'm in trouble and I will probably end up having gut problems soon after.

For scoped last month and was clean. Three areas of very mild irritation, not enough to change y diet or meds. My last cbc, so days ago only came back abnormal for albumin but I'm accepting this as normal due to Malobsorbtion, this pretty much would rule out inflammation or blood cancers as my other counts were normal. I've been told to look at fibromyalgia and arthritis as both can cause fatigue and pain. I don't have a Dr app scheduled for another few months but I'm sure if my counts hinted at something I'd get a ring from my DR. Until tht day comes, I have to assume remission still.

Alright. I'll be hones y definition of remission is no cramps or gut pain. I never had the warm up period most people h e I went straight into "Holy cow I'm dying stage." Let's pretend this is a flare
As we have no medical confirmation. These consistent signs as I've never had a normal hit before?

I have crohns & fibromyalgia. I was finally diagnosed with fibro when rheumatologist ruled out other illnesses through blood work. Savella helps me alot but i know it's related to crohns or inflammation because right before I flare I get striking pain through my legs. Its debilitating. I suggest researching a rheumatologist in your area. I also get steroid injections in my hip joints. My crohns is supposedly in remission according to biopsies from colonoscopy.

Have you had your Vitamin D levels checked? It's not included in a CBC.

Couldn't tell you when it was last checked. Unless its a rider on the met panel then it's been awhile. I take a multi vitamin for iron and b12. So my D should come in with that. Though its entirely possible I still am not properly absorbing the minerals and vitamins.

As for fibro. I believe you gotta have tender poi T's and all around pain right? Mine seems to be localized to my left leg, left groin, both forearms, both shoulders, and neck/skull base. I've found no tender points just tiredness and aches. I get a huge cyst in my right wrist and been told its probably related to a R.Arthritis start. I used to pitch ball in high school and had to stop in college because Chrons nearly killed me. Long story short my right arm is all ground out from the violent arm mechanic of tossing a small object 80mph or so.

Will,

I was recently diagnosed with Fibro and it was due to soreness in my neck, shoulders, chronic fatigue, numbness/weakness in both hands, memory loss or memory fog as they call it and insomnia. The whole waking up in the morning with massive foot/hand pain combined with killer fatigue really sucks. I can still remember getting the tender point test and the places he pushed hurting right after he touched them. Muscle weakness has been the pits and hot and cold temperatures cause my body to ache. Oh and my attention span has been horrible.
I am in a massive flare with crohn's right now so I know they are both feeding off of each other. I have had a ton of blood work done that came up normal while in a massive flare and have learned not rely on them so much.

We will see. I have an app with my general practitioner in three weeks to drive him to test me more. He some complicated bloodwork done and some referrals probably. Luckily he is a practicing GP at an oncology clinic so 1) he doesn't see many patients due to most people thinking its only a cancer clinic and 2) they can spin their own blood and take advanced X-rays on site.

You mentioned numbness? I'm getting that in my feet quite a bit if I leave then elevated more than 20 seconds or so. I have a history of diabetes in my family so I'm going to get screened at that app as well since early diabetes also has the same symptoms mentioned above alon with frequent urination and fatigue roller coasters. My cbc showed normal hemo but I think with chrons maski g most everything g it's hard to get a beat on normal for some doctors. Luckily with things like lymphoma or leukemia those throw things so out of wack cbc wise anyone off the street could see something wrong. I'm shooting for a minor flare paired with a very minor flu but I've come to expect that I'll get a rider disease sooner or later wih family history of diabetes and arthritis.

The numbness for me is with my hands when I try to read holding a book up or lay my head on my hands. My feet lately cramp up sup easily if I flex them too long. Hope this helps.

That's about how I've been lately. Sit on one position for a few seconds too long and I start to go pins an needles.

Will,
Like suggested Viat D, B12and B6. I read and those stuck out. I went for those things like 5 hour energy, but another brand (stacker) water soluble what you don't need you pass. The pain is reduced Think more clearly, fog cutter. for a couple of dollars what can you loose? I take one 2 oz. about every other day. Made a difference for me. I see the Doc friday and will relate what I told you to him.
