help please

Get your potassium levels checked. I suffer terrible charlie horse cramps when I am low on P.

ive just started drinking that much water... was drinking maybe 4 32 oz waters a day... im a cook and it is hot in the kitchen... the cramps started in my feet but was handleing them then started in my calfs ( spelling is terrable) about 2 months ago started in my inner thighs now the back of my thighs.... i was crying and telling my bf to help me up poor man i scarred him......i go back to dr the 14th of nov so i hope he can help.....

i will ask.... i just want to sleep all night and not have to get up to pee or the cramps......dadgum... getting old is a b...

ok i had a good night on monday but tues was hell cramps in my inner thigh and calves i ask the pharmist he said to drink more gatoraide and uping my patasium so im taking 2 patasium and 2 calcium and drinking gatoraide i was up 7 x last night this is crazy i go to dr the 14th

no diuretics....dr put me on a diuretics with my blood pressure pill once it put me in the hospital....thanks for all the post....

Years ago they used to give quinine, like what is in tonic water. That being said K+ is a funny electrolyte. It ranges from 3.5 to 5mg/dl(I think it is mg/dl of blood.). The heart likes the potassium to be in this range, otherwise your heart does funny(not good) things.....Get your blood work done ASAP. You may need IV K+, or even Mg+ or Calicium. I am betting on the K+

well went to dr he said i had to go to my primary dr so i stopped by her office she did a blood sugar test 397 wow now dibetic what the heck well the biopsy com back with cancer cell so watching that im down 5 more lbs thats 72 lbs.... my insurance will not pay for the machine or anything to go with it....taking new pill for the spasms in the tummy.....have to fast tomorrow night and have more blood work fri morning......been wonderfull dayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy not

Hey there. Doctors make better educated guesses. That's all. Medication should be more for short term. It does not cure you.
