help !!!

I'm a woman of 47 years and cince 1985 I have crohns disease. The last years I did receive remicade every 6 weeks, but lately it damages my skin to much and it seems that it isn't efficient enough. So my doctor said he wanted to start with cimzia : only 1 problem our health security system doesn't aproved cimzia yet. Now I'm waiting for a free dosis from the company to test it '(toghether with some others) . but my deocor did reply for it now 3 weeks ago and we still haven't hurt from ucb. For the moment I do have kramps every hour now and I'm holding on with some steroids. I can't understand why it take so long for the company to decide if I get it or not. Does anybody has an idea how to get it ? Probably not but I'm really despared. It has been 8 week since my last remicade and I really can't wait much longer. Normaly we here in belgium we have a very good health system but now for the moment i hate it.

hey, thank you for answering. My specialist says that humira statisticly causes more skin rashes then remicade, so he is not to exited giving it to me. Wednesday I'll call again the hospital and I'm keeping my fingers crossed. normaly I'm a very positive person but these days are not so fantastic. I just can't get it why it take 3 weeks for a company to decided giving it or not, they have all my medicalhistory, blood, thorax tbc tests etc. Ofcourse I'll get it for free until it is aproved by our gouvernement (health department)
