I've had Terminal Ileal Crohn's for 14 years. I had a resection about
4 years ago and have not had any problems until now.
I have been having lots of vaginal/anal itching and burning lately. I have found it hard to control my bowels/urine, and there is often blood when I wipe. I went to the GI, he did a colonoscopy and found nothing. I went to the OB/GYN, she said it looked like I had a psoriasis-type rash. In addition, I have a bacterial vaginal infection (which I've never had before).
I've been really tired lately, and amongst other things, my skin is doing lots of crazy things. Lots of dry patches in places-scalp psoriasis, and bumps in other places.
I find all of this too coincedental to believe that I'm not flaring. I am calling my GI doctor in the morning to go back in.
My question is - what types of tests would show if I had a fistula? My GI doctor always thinks that if my colonoscopy looks good, then nothing else is wrong. I beg to differ with him because I know my body, and I know something is not right. What should I demand that he do?
Anyone else had any of these crazy symptoms? I just feel lost.
Thanks!!
