Supplements and diets can be dangerous or risky, actually. Just like meds. Oh wait.
Mods, delete this if you must, but I'm just getting so sick and tired of seeing of seeing these ridiculous and ludicrous claims for diet - 'I was cured', 'I control my disease', 'I put myself into remission'.
Hundreds of thousands of people on Remicade could make the claim they were 'cured' based on a clean scope and no symptoms too. I would be just as annoyed with them, but luckily they don't go in for that sort of smug, frivolous, misleading nonsense.
Edit: Put it down to Pred rage, but I do almost literally rage when I see hopelessly inaccurate statements like this one:
Ari Meisel trains his body to conquer Crohn's diseaseYou can train your body to run a marathon; you cannot train it to beat Crohn's, cancer, arthritis, any of those things, and to say you can is nothing less than an actual lie.
Plus his raw vegan diet would put many many Crohnies into hospital, including me.
