Hello fellow crohns members
I am new to tis forum and am kind of worried about my situation with my disease. I had emergency surgery in 2009 and they resected 11 inches of my tummy into my colon. I have managed my disease ok until last year when they found a reoccurrence with my colonoscopy and put me on remicade infusions. I get these every two months but have recently had a flare up and was unable to go the bathroom and started vomitting which is how I ended up in the hospital the first time from a blockage. I am having trouble after getting out of the hospital with having bowel movements, it was ok at first and I have been not eating a lot of food, just soups and maybe a bagel and I'm concerned that things are just not moving how they should be. I take miralax to help with this situation and this is not helping me either, so I just wonder if anybody else is having this issue or has had the issue? I'm worried I'm heading towards another obstruction and if anybody has a good remedy to keep things moving safely that is natural. I don't think its good to use laxatives all the time as this could make your colon not know how to work naturally? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Kellie
