@LexiRae - You're most welcome :p
I'm hoping that my pain lessens, too, especially in the next 10 minutes... :-/
@Lovetoski - Thanks :p Wouldn't say I had half my colon left, though, or even close to that. Apparently it's a much longer op if you have the full works done, eg rectum
and colon is removed. I suppose because rectal surgery is trickier surgery, plus you've got to sew up the bottom or whatever.
Crohn's has affected my sigmoid and rectum in the past, I think, but never very badly - the ascending and transverse parts have always been bad. The swelling of the stoma can't go down fast enough for me; my pyjamas are not doing a sterling job of hiding it... >_>
Yep, have had a proper meal, more than one. Appetite was quite good in hospital; never really struggled with eating t.
*nods off for a microsecond* Okay, I'm gonna take some Oxycontin, wait half an hour or so, then go to bed... :-/
Edit: I see surgery hasn't improved my typing/writing speed >_>. Thanks dunny and dave :p Dunny, I was pretty much the same: first two days I was like, 'okay, let's
push this button. A lot.' ¬_¬
