Read the book "breaking the vicious cycle" about
the scd diet. It gives you all kinds of food options that you can substitute for carbs and sugar and grains. I have been following the diet for 6 years and I am in complete remission. I don't eat, any grains like breads or cereals or rice. I don't eat carbs like pasta, potatoes or corn or any processed foods that conatin grains, chemicals or sugar. Is it difficult to follow at first, but after a few months it becomes second nature. I bake my own bread and
cookies using almond flour and honey as a sweetner. I eat ll the meat and fish I want and all vegatables except corn and potatoes.
