looking for GI doc in Seattle, WA

Moving to Seattle, WA in a few weeks and would like some recommendations of any good GI docs in the area. I am sad to leave my GI of over 10 yrs here in VA (crohns) :(
any info is appreciated!

Scratch that...two reviews. Once of those seems to be for a Boston doctor.

I live in the Seattle area, and wanted some clarification. The "Seattle area" is really big! lol Are you moving to Seattle proper, or was that the big city near where you are moving?
I wouldn't suggest using any of the doctors at Group Health, I have mine trained (after a year), but for the most part, they just go through the motions and seem to get annoyed if your body gives complications. Virginia Mason and Swedish clinics both have great doctors, from what I hear.
I hope that you won't, but if you need a surgeon, I would definitely suggest mine. His name is Martin Herman. He is a GI surgery specialist. Last year when I was having trust issues with my doctors, he was the one that I trusted. He is at Overlake Hospital for his surgeries, I don't know if he is at any other hospitals, not sure if they can go to multiple hospitals. His office is right near Overlake hospital.

Another vote for a physician at Virginia Mason. It is by far the largest GI group in town which means the GIs increasingly subspecialize in certain areas of Gastroenterology. After many years seeing a GI will a more "general" practice at Virginia Mason, I was transfered over to Dr. Lord, who focuses solely on IBD in his clinic and research activities.

They've recently hired a new GI, Dr. Chiorean (From Indiana University) to head up an IBD specialty clinic (https://www.virginiamason.org/IBDCenter) as part of their department. You're just not going to find the level of expertise for IBD anywhere else in town.
