Hey I've been on pred since 13 march for a flare I've also been treated with IV steroids for 8 days I'm due to have an MRI on Wednesday my question is if its a flare and I've been in steroids will it show up on scan thanks in advance.

Probably. A month on steroids is hopefully enough to get you feeling better, but if you had IV steroids I'm guessing you were in pretty bad shape to start with.
Have you been scoped?

If you're still having symptoms then it's likely the MRI will show inflammation. But a scope offers the opportunity for a biopsy, which is really needed for an accurate diagnosis. Why not go straight to a scope?

That's the next step if the MRI is clear then a scope my Crohn's is where the small and large bowel meet so I think they want to check the small bowel first! My blood test have always been normal even when scans and scopes are bad!
