The big libido...or not so big

Hi everyone!

I've noticed lately, as has my boyfriend, that my libido has been VERY low. And by lately, I mean for about a year. I've been on Entocort for a little over a year now and haven't flared up since last June, but my Crohn's is in no way under control, in fact I'm finally going to a new GI tomorrow and I can't wait! (the things we get excited about...)

I know this isn't discussed often here, we're all too busy talking about our BMs haha.

I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this kind of thing, either with Crohn's or on Entocort. It's really starting to affect my relationship and I want to try and remedy it as soon as possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have no libido anymore. :( I'd say the last 3 years I have had zero libido! I thought it was my birth control at first, but now I'm starting to wonder if it's just part of the disease. I find sex with my husband to be slightly painful too, my dr. says it is because of inflammation (cause by Crohn's!). Let us know if you find anything to help.... I will take any advice!! :)

Ahem.

Use lubricant.
Make dates.
Have plenty of preparation.

Being sick makes most of us feel unsexy. However, getting actively involved in the process makes me, at least, enjoy and want more.

It's like exercise. Starting can be hard, but sticking to it can be very rewarding, especially for pain relief.
