possible discharge from the army?

I was recently diagnosed with crohns disease while attending basic training i ended up havong a bowel obstruction and had to have a bowel resection. Im currwntly on convelscense leave and was wondering if anybody would know what i should expect when return to basics. I was told when i was in the hosipital that i would be discharged and was wondering if that information is correct.

Geez, if they discharge you for an Ingrown Toenails (703). they will discharge you for Crohns.

I went into the Navy already having the disease for 11 years, obviously I didn't tell them about my condition.
Since you haven't been in that long, they will give you a medical discharge.
Your case will be evaluated by the Physical Evaluation Board (PEB) and it's very thorough.
