MIld Flare - Very Tired?

Anyone ever feel really drained? I am not in a horrible flare but I Have very little energy. Everything seems tiring that normally wouldnt like walking up stairs. I Have not been eating the best or sleeping the best so I assume this has something to do with it. But consdering this flare is very mild not much pain I am very surprised despite lack of food and sleep just how tired I am. I go to the doctor on the 10th.

My husband had a recurrence of c-diff where the only symptom he had was that he was immensely tired, bone deep fatigue. He saw the doctor who was dismissive of it,but ordered blood and stool tests anyway, since my husband had such a difficult. Time with crohns and cdiff. And the result for cdiff was positive. His doctor was so very surprised.

One of the first symptoms that my husband has with gut problems is that de feels completely drained of energy. If I were you, I'd try to see your doctor asap.

Just like PV's husband when my son was diagnosed with C-Diff his main complaint was extreme fatigue. Couldn't get out of bed to go to school which is not like him. It might be worth testing for C-Diff.

Being fatigued and flares always go hand in hand with me. I think it's just all that inflammation in my body that just wears me out. Although I will say, I thought I was having a mild flare recently. Learned otherwise when my colonoscopy showed that my colon and TI was in quite bad shape with ulcers and inflammation. Really shocked me and now I'm not going to be so quick to call things mild anymore! But yes I would say any flare takes the wind out of you! Hope you start feeling better!

So far, fatigue seems to be my most noticeable symptom at the beginning of a flare. I'm glad my GI takes it seriously -I'm in grad school and the student health folks just roll their eyes when I tell them about it.
