So I need some advice. I take Humira once a week and azathioprine 50mg twice a day. And I got a cold about
a week and a half ago, started out with a sore throat then got runny nose then stuffy nose, sneezing and coughing. Then the day before yesterday my symptoms were gone, no sore throat, no stuffy nose, nada. But yesterday my throat, starts to hurts a whole lot. More than the first time.
When I look in the mirror my tonsils are very red and swollen, to where they are touching. And they are full of white patches. Today I woke up and the patches are larger and my soft palate is red, The back of my throat is full of red lumps. I have done salt water gargles and hydrogen peroxide gargles too. And they have not helped. And btw these are not tonsil stones, as I've had those before. I wanted to go to a clinic but my insurance is not
open yet. it's a share of cost insurance,long story.
So my question is should I go to the ER or wait it out until my insurance
opens to be able to go to the clinic? Which should probably be about
3 or 4 days. Kind of scared of this because of the azathioprine and Humira. But maybe I'm just overreacting
