So this woman rings up about half an hour ago. She's from the psychology services unit, offering me an appointment with the psychologist that I've been waiting 3 months to see. Naturally I jump at the chance, but the day and time of the appointment coudn't clash more than if I heavily clashed two cymbals together: I have an appointment with the surgeon same day, 10 minutes later.

That's this Thursday, by the way. Urgh, sucks. I did briefly consider cancelling the appointment with the surgeon, but then it would be another 3 month wait to see her and there are a few things I want to talk about. Anyway, I'm still on the waiting list for the psychologist: it'll probably just be another 3 months, that's all:

I think they are working together to make this as difficult as possible. It's a test the psychologist has devised .... let's see what NCOT does with this, heh heh heh....

just a thought.... maybe call the surgeon and tell them what is up and see if the surgeon can push yours back a little in the day to give you time to see both? sometimes they will work with you..just a thought.

Wow, I can't believe they only offered you just one time slot with the psychologist, or three months from now??? That's so nuts!! Time for you to be the assertive self we know and love:)

I did try to get the appointment moved by an hour, but the woman couldn't do it. Somebody had cancelled the appointment and she was offering me the cancelled slot. I never actually thought of ringing the surgeon's office, but it'll be too late; the slot will have certainly gone to another person by now :-/

Oh, and I probably won't have to wait another 3 whole months, but I'm sure I'll have to wait a few more weeks at least. Figures ¬_¬

@kazbern - Life itself feels like a test. And I've got an F grade... >_>
