I have type 2 Diabetes and Crohn's. They don't work well together, but I have found a few helpful things. One, I can eat well-cooked broccoli, cauliflower, French style green beans, all meats (just not fried). But here is the saving thing. Dreamfield's pasta. It is not whole wheat pasta. It is low carb pasta, at least for me. Instead of the 40 grams of carbs per serving of regular pasta, it has only 5 grams of digestible cards so for me it barely raises my blood sugar level. I tested and re-tested my sugar after eating the pasta and found I could tolerate it very well and it was soothing for my Crohn's. Makes a great chicken casserole, chicken noodle soup, Swedish meatballs, etc. and it comes in 5 or 6 different shapes.
