Has anyone else tried the canasa supppositories for crohns in the lower colon? I was doing the mesalamine enemas and just couldn't hold them for very long. I took my first one last night and held it all night so it seems it will work better for me.

Yes. Before being diagnosed as having Crohn's I was given Canasa for rectal pain/discomfort which turned out to be proctitis and they cleared up the issue in about 2 weeks. But, yes, it took 2 weeks to really make a difference so give it a chance before determining if it works for you or not. Good luck.
