No Insurance-Asacol

Anyone know of manufacturer or drug companies coupons for asacol? Been on it ten years, lost my insurance, and cannot afford it.

I take 1600 mg twice a day.

A month's supply was over 1000. I was using both needymeds.org and another prescription medication discount program.

Any suggestions welcomed

I got Lialda for free from the ShireCares program. Does Asacol have such a program you can apply for?

If it doesn't work out, you could try switching to Remicade. There is a program called Remistart that helps with costs.

I tried remistart and the jenssen program..they didnt even answer anything yet..it has been 3 weeks...now, Lialda, withing a week I had 3 sealed bottles at my house..really fast!

Myself 09 - go to ASACOL.COM. They offer a discount card where you pay no more than $20.00/month. It has worked for me for the past year. Good luck!

Dawn-I got the Asacol HD card, but it only cut the cost by around 50 bucks.

I will check into Lialda.

I received some help from religious organizations in my town. If I cut my dosage and maintain my SCD, I can get through until 2014, and new insurance kicks in. Not the best solution, but the only one I can live with. If my CD kicks in harder, I will have to take further steps.
