I went through a period of severe diarrhea and often such urgency I was incontinent. I found my asthma pills, blood pressure pills, etc in the pads I was wearing. I even used gloves to break them open to make sure it was not just the casing of the pill. I saved them in a container and took them to my doctor so he would understand the severity of my issues. When he saw the issue tests were ordered to find out what was causing the rapid transit time. During this period I also was not getting many nutrients from my food, However, I gained weight!
Some vegetables will not breakdown in the digestive tract. From WebMD:
"Insoluble fibers are considered gut-healthy fiber because they have a laxative effect and add bulk to the diet, helping prevent constipation. These fibers do not dissolve in water, so they pass through the gastrointestinal tract relatively intact, and speed up the passage of food and waste through your gut. Insoluble fibers are mainly found in whole grains and vegetables.
Sources of insoluble fiber: whole wheat, whole grains, wheat bran, corn bran, seeds, nuts, barley, couscous, brown rice, bulgur, zucchini, celery, broccoli, cabbage, onions, tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers, green beans, dark leafy vegetables, raisins, grapes, fruit, and root vegetable skins."
