But you were on Pred for 12 years before that? At what sort of dose? I wouldn't be surprised if your adrenal glands were permanently shot if you were on anything above a low dose (5mg or under) for that length of time. It might be worth checking out your hormones with an endocrinologist. I'm no expert, but I took Pred for 19 months on and off (but mostly on), and the rebound fatigue after finally getting off it was unreal. It lasted for a few weeks; even now, six months on, I'm not exactly jumping around with energy.
Do check out your iron levels if you don't know what they are. Iron-deficiency anaemia is common with Crohn's, but easily treatable through iron supplements or transfusions.
Apart from that, though, I think your fatigue is utterly normal under the circumstances. I would try to do less if you can, rather than more.
