44 views and only two other votes? I guess that means no one else flares in the winter months?

i think for me my crohns might be a little worse in the summer cus its easier to get dehydrated and that doesn't help at all. i do like the summer though because i dont have to worry about my vitamin D defficency( and i can relax by my pool). i think it just depends on how your body adjusts to the temperature. some people love the cold and some people love the heat. people are probably more relaxed when their in the temperature they enjoy and aren't as stressed about stuff.

My flares seem to escalate in the fall. My GI said that there is a pattern seen in seasonal changes. You may get more results if you could design a poll that has a choice between all four seasons. I know I would be interested in seeing the results.

In the early years of my disease, yes. Now it's not much of a difference. But studies show Crohn's Disease is more prevalent in the northern colder climate (Canada, Northern US and Scandinavian countries).

I voted no because my guts have been in remission for several years. My joints definitely get worse in cold months, especially like today when the low was 11 and we are used to much warmer temps.

Voted no, I tend to be more of a Spring and Fall flare girl myself.

Change of seasons brings on flares for me and yes, winter seems to be the worst.

My crohn's doesn't give a crap (well actually I guess it literally does give lots of craps) what season it is...it's always flaring and the severity of the flare has no rhyme or reason in regards to the weather either.
