And as I stated in my post, I broke down and gave in to trying it, I didn't want to, at the time it was either that or hang myself because I don't have the words to describe the pain I was in.

And yes Stef, the way he worded it was offensive and my motives are true, I hate being stoned, I can't drive when I am, I refuse to even try, unlike many that do it strictly for leisure that have no issues with getting in their cars and driving while impaired. So of course I'm going to take offense, I'm angry that I had to resort to mj because of the stigma attached to it and the fact that people that are not aware of it's true medical benefit and instead are all judgmental about it (just as I was) and he didn't state he was 16 until further down in the topic.

I'm fine with those that chose not to, but to make it sound like I don't have morals because out of desperation I am doing it, is a whole other story. I'm not a criminal or a druggy or drug dealer, I've been sick for over 2 decades with NO RELIEF other than this stupid mj or death.

Rango, I hope you're never faced with having to go against your morals, so sorry that I was, but you know what, it's no different than people that use meds to get high and believe me, many people with morals do that too. I also think it's completely inhumane that the right to die isn't a standard right across the world, I've seen people die from terminal cancer and it's the most cruel thing that the medical community doesn't let people that want to, die with dignity rather than extend the torture of death they are feeling until they take their last breath.

I will also add, part of my issue when my pain got really severe was constipation, I can't take pain meds because it just makes the constipation worse. I am looking to find a better way to use mj so that I don't have to experience the stoned feeling but can still get relief from this ugly disease. So, Mathew, thanks for the tip, I will definitely look into that.

FYI, medical mj in the form of some kind of oil gave a toddler with terrible seizures her life back, in my eyes her parents finally found a way to help her because the lousy meds out there weren't doing a thing other than causing other health issues thanks to the side effects of modern garbage meds. This toddler doesn't get high from her medical mj either (which is something I'm going to research more on so I don't have to ever be high either).

pb4 im sorry how i made my post sound, and that i was ignorant to how much pain some people are in and i hope you'll accept my apology. i can understand that after a long period of constant pain you would try MJ. i was in the hospital a week for a bowle obstruction and believe me i would have lost my mind if they didn't give me morphine. have a happy thanksgiving and hope you feel better.

i know some people might think this sounds like im a relgious werdo but sometimes when your down and feel alone reading an ispirational passage from the bible can really help. believe it or not theres a force bigger than the people on earth. jesus the prince of peace has his hand streched out waiting for you to hold and believe in him. read John 3:16 and you'll see what i'm saying. to the moderators i just ask that you leave this post here for a few hours. its just something i had to say.

I cook exactly that way, it looks like 1/2oz it has be in powder, to get the full extraction, and when it bakes in the oven it needs to be powder to burn off nasty carbons, I do 1/2 oz of mmj with 8oz of grain alcohol, thc/cbd sticks to alcohol at that low simmer, but really the key element to get full extraction of med is to heat it up first, I did 10oz of alcohol and 20grams of mmj yesterday, I make it stronger than most, cooked that down to 5oz of med, cost of my med for this, for the year $100no side effects, that are bad any way, I tend to cook it a little longer, I like the flavor of cannabis rather than that awful alcohol, that's my choice, and I use a little extra mmj when I cook, I want as much of that med cooked out. It will eventually help a lot of people in so many ways, but also some people can't take it, my wife could never use, not this strong new stuff

I would just like to say, being a Medical Marijuana patient in Oregon, that marijuana is far from a "drug". Yes, it is classified as a schedual 1 drug said to have no medical benefit whatsoever. However, there are DEA reports indicating that the cannabis plant does in fact have medical properties, and the Federal Government actually has admitted that cannabis has healing properties. Aside from these facts, I have been using Cannabis since I was 14, so almost 11 years, and I personally have never made a choice that I regretted while I was medicated, nor have I ever known anyone to make a decision to do something stupid under the influence of cannabis, aside from spending too much money at the gas station buying snacks. It is sedating, so it will make your reaction time slower and will impair your ability to make quick decions. That being said, it also will make you hyper aware of your surroundings and a little paranoid that you might do something you shouldnt, so you become more in tune and dont do those things, if that makes sense? Cannabis is an amazing thing, and I fully support its use in anyone that is willing to give it a try. If it can be used in infants with epilepsy effectively, it goes without saying that it is a safe alternative to conventional medications, however, it doesnt work the same for everyone, as with all medications. I use it because it calms my anxiety and helps me to not stress, it also helps with my abdominal pain and cramping. It eases diarrhea, its a natural antiinflammatory, has anti tumor properties, among so much more. If anyone here is against it for any reason, please, just do some research. "How does marijuana help with crohns disease?" you will be surprised at what you find floating around out there, and its not just stoner kids writing pages on the internet. There have been extensive scientific researches done solely for the purpose of finding the medical benefits of this plant.

My PM doctor wanted to put me on the drug Marinol. That's the drug version of the pain killer in MJ, but my GI said there wasn't enough stats that showed it was worth it for Crohns patients to so it was rejected so instead I deal with these severely addictive drugs. I know I could do street MJ but I signed a contract with my PM and I'm keeping to it. Although even the PM doc WHO HAS CROHNS thinks its a much better option then the opiods.

I have been diagnosed w Chroens since 2010 - been on remicaide bi monthly and methotrexate every week. I use my MJ to moderate the near constant nauseau the mtx gives me as well as the remicaide. MY concern is my GI doesnt think the week helps and refuses to sign a doc supporting my request for mj. Im located in Ottawa ONT Canada - does anyone have any tips or names of ONT GI docs who are open to MJ as a drug alternative??

I belong to a place that dispenses weed. It's called the Toronto Compassion Club. You only need a signature from a natural path. I live in Orangeville. My family doctor sent me to a medical marijuana clinic but so far they have only prescribed me THC pills. (Synthetic) They do have some benifit but I know the weed works better.
