Call the GI? Be careful. The ER doc gave me Cipro and Flagyl before sending me to the specialists, and my GI was really upset they did that just to "cover the bases." After some reading I think it was the Cipro that messed me up more, because now I am on Flagyl again. If you are concerned, look into and call them.

covering the bases only.
Honestly, I can only describe my experience as horrendous...the care and treatment was sub-standard apart from two characters that came on shift as I was about
to leave.
As for my PCM, her response on the follow up was.....ohhhh, maybe it's your Crohn's, maybe it's the reflux, or maybe it's just the way you are.
I cried like a baby in that emergency room...and I don't like crying in front of anyone.
I still have the pain every moment of the day but I can cope with the level it's at now.
Seeing the gastroenterologist on the 31st Dec...so fingers crossed he will get to the bottom of it...
