I don't know what to do I have suffered from crohn's since I was 19 years old and it seems like anytime something changes I get even more afraid. Let me start from square one. I get Remicade once every 2 to 3 weeks which barely controls my symptoms. Recently I had a diet change in an attempt to put on weight before my wedding. Yes I want to gain weight before my wedding! I gained about
7 pound bringing me up to 105 pounds two days ago I notice a rapid weight loss that continues and I weigh 97 pounds now. I wasn't vomiting or having a bout of uncontrollable diarrhea until last night. I felt fine a majority of the day. Then out of no where I had devastating pain and vomiting. I guess my question is should I take the trip to the er or is this possibly a flare up? I do not take anything but Remicade and Tylenol is not helping my pain whatsoever... I hate going to the er because I feel like they look at me like I am some kind of drug addict looking for a score but I can not get in the gi today so I do not know what to do...
Sincerely,
A concerned Crohnie

Hi there. 1st congrats!!!!!! With all the stress of a wedding if you're not well and are in pain I would say go to the ER if you can't talk to gi! Last thing you want is stress to knock things off kilter. I got married 10 yrs ago and i still remember being pretty stressed. I hope you're feeling better soon!!!!

Thank you @mtgman I think I will be taking that trip in I feel like something is extremely wrong. I have never had this type of pain and the weight loss really scares the hell out of me! The pain is by far a 13 on a 1 to 10 scale. I will update later. Wish me luck and thank you for the congrats I will be happily married on feb 22 :D
