Gi doctors at Northwestern, Dr. Yun?

Has anyone seen Dr. Laura Yun at Northwestern Memorial? The GI I wanted to see I can't get into until August and I could see her much earlier but then I have to stay with her. Just wondering if anyone has seen this doctor Yun. Or any other GI doctor there that you are pleased with?

Actually, I have, but only once and more or less in passing. I wasn't able to form a strong opinion on her. She seemed okay, but didn't blow me away either.

I'm in the market for a GI in the Chicago area, too. Any guidance?

No. Still looking. I heard that Dr. Hanauer is now at Northwestern Memorial, long wait to see him.

Please let me know if you have any ideas.

wouldn't go to northwestern - their IBD program is notoriously the worst in Chicago. U of C or Rush is a better bet.

My colectomy was performed by Dr. Billimoria at Northwestern, who was excellent. That being said, he was a surgical oncologist by trade, not an IBD/GI doctor. Maybe that says a lot in and of itself. :)

JP, are there any specific GI's from those two places that you would recommend?
