Well, I didn't think I was menopausal yet either, as I still get periods every so often. The doctor was more worried about
osteoporosis since I don't absorb nutrients as well as "normal" people. She was right, I have very bad bones in my hips. She told me that testosterone is more beneficial to rebuilding bone than estrogen and progesterone. I hope she's right. But I am very excited about
all of the other benefits: better hair (although the hair on my legs is growing at a record rate); better skin; better mood; much, much better sleep - not to mention the decrease in my Crohn's symptoms. If I didn't know any better, I'd swear I didn't have Crohn's anymore. I feel that good !
By the way, the hormone therapy is called "BioTe" and its a pellet that is inserted under the skin on your butt. Maybe that's why it's helping my Crohn's !
