It has been one year since my emergency bowel resection and 7 mos since I had my ostomy takedown.
Sometimes, when I cough, or even if I move wrong, i get really strong pulling/stabbing pains in the lower quadrants. It doesn't last a real long time, but it's so painful it doubles me over for a couple minutes before it eases up.
Is that scar tissue? On the right, it is right about where the ilium used to be, so that's what got me to thinking it was scar tissue, but then it started happening on the left too.
I hear of people having issues with scarring and adhesions so I am not really sure how I would tell, or what it would feel like.
Can anyone explain that to me?
Thanks!!
