Hello:

Severe right side pain, bleeding also Fibro is acting up. Employed again with a wage that does not pay enough to support me. Standing in my kitchen, I hear drip...drip...drip. I check under my cabinet and the pipe is leaking at a joint below the shut off. I have $30.00 (US) in the bank. I could try to fix it myself but, I am in serious right side pain, I am extremely exhausted. Honestly, I think I went into freeze mode. I have no one. My son was in a head on collision this summer he is alive but, cannot do anything yet. He cannot go back to work until after March of 2015 if he rehabilitates o.k. So, I am in a little pickle here. Life is funny that way.

Thinking:
If I turn the main water off while I am having a flare that just won't be good. Also the pipes will freeze. Maybe I should just pack a bag and take my $30.00 and get on a bus to wherever it wants to take me. LOL if I miss work on Monday I don't get holiday pay for Thursday or Friday that they gave us for vacation. That means three days of unpaid time. I WILL DO THIS....I WILL GET UP STABBING PAIN OR NOT AND DO THIS WHATEVER IT IS. Going to sleep on it hoping my mattress does not float away in the middle of the night.

Please help me look at the brighter side of doom. Thank you for listening.

I'm sorry you're having problems, if it makes you feel better I'm having issues this morning as well; definitely should not have had that large bag of popcorn yesterday but the salty snack was SOOOO good.

I have no jokes to share. I hope you know that evenutally they will find a cure. It seems they are coming up w/ new treatments everyday and public awareness is gaining momentum.

When I first was diagnosed at age 24, I told an 18 year old girl at church about it, how I had been diagnosed with a "chronic condition." She was horrified and after several seconds of silence, whispered in a stammer, "How much time do you have left?" She thought "chronic" meant "terminal." I just laughed and laughed.

I hate the popcorn dillema. Chronic/terminal good one. I wish you both well. Someone is on my side because the plumber on a Sunday only cost 265.00. Hopefully the fan will save the sheet rock and bottom of sink.

This is a wake up call. Poor or not I have to take care of myself. I cannot skimp on my medical. I found out that I can get some coverages that can help w/my employment insurance. If I have to get that Illeostomy then so be it. I need to go to allergist and treat Asthma. Get my sleep Apnea taken care of. Fibro meds if I have to. This is no quality of life here.

Heading off to the hospital as right side pain is now not letting up. Beginning to wonder if flare at all possibly appendicitis? Here we go a whole new start. It might not get better but it is definitely going to be different.

I am so sorry life is so hard right now. I hope the hospital helps you and you can get some medical coverage. Let us know how you do.

Yes..My father had UC yes in deed..but the only time I heard of Crohns was in the early 90's when I heard of a professor's wife I had dying of Crohns complications so yes when I was told Crohns I thought I might die as well..One of my favorite post on here was a few years back of ways to entertain yourself when stuck in the bathroom..Dream bathroom makeovers with those stuck on the toilet in mind only a Crohnie could appreciate ..One of my vacations, I sat to eat with my family only to need to use the bathroom only to find a long line and only one toilet..I must have looked more than miserable to have others let me go ahead!!! My kids thought it was hilarious the look on my face.. I am sorry you are not well at the holidays and you feel better..
