Bumping this post to see if anyone has latest Lingzhi experiences to share?
Thanks

I do not know how to pm you so I hope you get this. Kind of getting off track with the original post here but I am fascinated in these mushrooms. I bought bags of the real deal to brew my own tea, so I am set in that aspect. I would like to know if this is something I should be doing in conjunction to a TNF like humira. I may be wrong but it seems both are defeating each others purpose. Any insight on this?
I don't want to pretend to be a biochemist, but I would guess it's safe to try lingzhi even if on Humira. At worst, if you see yourself getting worse, you can stop the lingzhi (or stop the Humira?). I'm not really sure from your post if you're actually already on Humira or only thinking about
it.
As far as I know, lingzhi helps Crohn's patients mainly because it's anti-inflammatory. In that sense, it shouldn't conflict with Humira. Now it is possible that lingzhi does strengthen the immune system too, which would be counter to what Humira does. This is where I have to draw the line and say "I don't know."
If you've got the bags of lingzhi, I would say "go for it." I can't imagine it being very risky, especially if you're NOT on an immunosuppressive drug. If you are on Humira, well, it's a judgment call you've got to make - I don't feel right advising you when I don't know for sure.
best wishes for good health, and please let us know if lingzhi works out (or even if it doesn't),
regards,
Robert
