Hello everyone, I hope you're all starting the new year with no inflammation and in good health. I am Crohn's patient who is currently in remission with the help of my friend Remicade (infliximab). I was diagnosed at 11 years old and have spent my whole life ignoring the fact I have this disease, generally healthy with the help of all sorts of medications. I ate Big macs, drank coca cola and have been part of this wild human experiment ingesting all sorts of GMO's. Combined with crappy genes, a lifetime of scheduled vaccines, antibiotics for all sorts of things, sounds like the perfect storm to mess up my regulatory system. Crohn's seems to have an interesting connection to Mycobacterium avium subspecies paratuberculosis baterium as well (MAP). Whatever the cause, I want my body back, and I don't want to be a Remicade stat anymore. So far I've gone from 7 weeks to 10 weeks per treatment with no symptoms and hope to ween off this year. This is my supplement plan & diet. Please feel free to contribute and ideas. If I can help with anything I'm happy to do so.
Supplements & Natural Treatments:
THC/CBD
Probiotics
Digestive Enzymes
Omega 3
Sodium Bicarbonate
Vitamin B12
Vitamin C
Magnesium Chloride
Green Superfood Powder
Will add:
Tumeric, Edible clay, Flax seed oil and anything else to promote a healthy body with the ability to rejuvenate intestinal flora naturally. All supplements are geared towards improving my regulatory system, with a healthy immune system and minimal inflammation.
Diet:
Salmon & chicken
Organic greek yogurt, Cheese, soy/almond milk
Quinoa, hemp cereal, chick peas, pasta, potatoes, oatmeal
Bananas, apples, Oranges, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries
Green peppers, spinach, cucumbers, carrots, celery, garlic
I stopped drinking milk, avoid red meats, greasy food, processed food etc. I choose organic whenever I have the choice, for vegetables and fruit it's not always so easy. I cheat on occasion and once a week you may find me with my hand in a bag of Dorito's... Likely after my daily dosage of THC. I'd love to hear from others who took control of their own bodies naturally and are no longer dependent on our friends at Big Pharma. I'm not positive I'll be successful in my attempt, but I'll keep you all updated if you're interested. We're all in this fight together, and i'm not just talking about Crohn's. The health of humanity is under siege and we must stop looking at the profiteers for a cure.
Peace health and love,
Andrew
