I also continually feel like my left buttock is inflamed. This has nothing to do with the anal rectal pain, which is mostly hard to treat hemmorhoids.. It feels just raw, and if I touch the flesh on on the outside of my buttock, it is tender to the touch. It goes away if I have a few better days in the bathroom, but it always comes back, and I have had countless doctors misdiagnosis me, and tell me it is all in my head. I have also wished to be dead, because nothing helps the pain. Suppositories were a real waste of money. Bending, squatting and standing all day make it much worse, so that I often am crying after work.
My issues mostly started after the removal of my gall bladder in 2008. Two months after having it out. Doctors think I am crazy when I say this, but I wonder if anyone else thinks the same. All my symptoms scream Chrones, but no one wants to give me a clear diagnosis, even after seeing three gastroenterologists. I am surviving on about
ten things I feel safe eating, and Boost shakes. I barely eat at work so that I will not get stuck in the bathroom, and I carry more Immodium around with me than money.
This disease costs a lot of money. It used to be blockages and constipation that were my issue, now it is mostly the runs. Sometimes Immodium helps, and sometimes nothing stops it, and it goes on for hours.
I get very dehydrated. I drink, no exaggeration, a gallon of water a day and I am still dehydrated. I get horrible gas pain and abdominal pain that moves all around, and goes into my back. But my doctor will only commit to gastritis, which is supposedly caused by things I do not even do.
The only med he has me on is Pantoprazole, which has helped some, because I was in so much pain I could not eat almost anything. But it is just a band-aid on the issue.
